Our PA service
We host a PA service within Inclusive Sports, run by our team of professionals who are all DBS checked, with up to date business insurance and are fully trained in safeguarding.
This unique and bespoke service provides the chance for your loved one to get out and about into the community, providing them with fun and innovative activities with someone they can have fun with and trust. This service can also act as a form of respite for families, as well as provide opportunities that the child or young person may have not otherwise had the chance to. Everything is catered to the child or young persons individual needs and interests, in alignment with our person centred approach.
Step One: Assessing Need
Step Two: Identifying Need
Step Three: Over to us!
Direct payment and assessment of need will be completed by a social worker- where it will be determined how many hours you will be eligible for. We have no control over this, and the referral will usually be made by the school or the parent/carer as part of their EHCP plan.
Based on the assessment, a person centred approach will be taken by a social worker. They will determine how much time they are entitled to, and what sort of provision would be best. Inclusive Sorts has no control over how many hours you are awarded.
This is where it is passed over to us. We will make a PA match based on your loved one's preferences and interests, where you can decide whether our match works for you or not.
